Definição: O Extreme Rules será a 4ª edição do evento em formato pay-per-view, produzido pela promoção de wrestling profissional, a WWE. Ocorrerá no dia 29 de abril de 2012 na All State Arena, na cidade de Chicago, Illinois. O Extreme Rules tem como temática estipulações voltadas ao Hardcore.

Atualizações: No RAW Supershow de ontem, foi confirmado que Big Show irá defender o Intercontinental Championship contra Cody Rhodes, porém a estipulação só será revelada no dia do evento. Além disso, Santino Marella irá defender o U.S Championship no pré-show contra The Miz.
